My Services

            I counsel many types of emotional pain; depression, anxiety, anger management, PTSD, grief, low self-esteem, marriage counseling & relationships but my speciality is in Crisis & Abuse.  I was abused as a child and later sexually assaulted as an adult so I definitely can relate to others suffering from abuse or the emotions above. I went from being a victim to being a victor. I want to help you find the path to healing too.

My Sessions

      My appointments with my clients usually last an hour;  five minutes for the greeting, fifty minutes for the session and five minutes for me to pray and make a follow up appointment if desired. 

      My sessions can be online, on the phone or in person.  I meet clients in a private office at my church, Faith Community Church in Lincolnton, Georgia and  I have a sub office in Greenwood, South Carolina at New Journey Church.  I am also happy to meet you at your church if they consent to us meeting there.

 

My Education 

     I have a degree in Christian Counseling from Colorado Theological Seminary with an advanced certification in Crisis and Abuse as well as Child and Adolescent Therapy.  I want to be able to help children and teens as much as adults.    I took courses on depression, anxiety, anger management, PTSD, grief and low self-esteem since all of these can be emotional problems of someone who has been in a crisis or abusive situation. I lived as a victim for many years, which in itself is an education beyond books.  I am free now because of the love and grace of Jesus Christ.  I am licensed through the National Christian Counseling Association, a Christian organization, not the state.

My Fees 

      This is a ministry for me to others so I try to be competitive with my prices.  My normal fee is $85 per session but I do offer a sliding scale fee based on income which is lower.  If your family makes less than $600 a week you will qualify for a discount.  I accept cash, check, Venmo, Zelle, Cash app, Apple Pay, or Square payments at the end of each session.

    I highly recommend a Temperament test.   It is sent to your email & takes about ten minutes to take. There are no right or wrong answers but it does help you to better understand yourself & helps me to help you. The cost of the test is $50 but you will need less sessions so saves you money in the long run.

About Me...

  ​    I have been married to my husband, Frank for 30 years.  We are each other's third spouse.  I am not proud of that, but will say the first two marriages did not include God.  I know what divorce feels like & teach DivorceCare for those suffering from divorce or separation.  Frank has four children,​ I have two and we have one together.  Our seven kids are now grown & gave us fourteen grands & even one great-grand.  We have two dogs that we enjoy spoiling.  

     Frank and I work together at our store, Lee's Jewelry in Greenwood, South Carolina. I enjoy working at the store but my ministry is helping others to overcome their past or work through emotional issues so they may live a better life.  We enjoy traveling & spending time with family.  I enjoy crafts, photography, & writing.  I am writing a devotional for people who have been diagnosed with cancer and write a blog to give encouragement.  (MrsLeesencouragingword.com)  I love helping others to find peace & trust in God.
